After a Rain Storm

Today’s awesome “wet” photograph comes from wedding photographer Brady Dillsworth.

In the photographer’s own words: I may be one of the few wedding photographers who actually become excited when it rains during a photo session. The sky appears fresh, the ground is reflective and people just act differently when they are wet. This engagement session occurred during a long downpour that stopped when we were on our way back to the studio and just one block from the building. We cut through a parking lot across the street and I had to stop in my tracks when I saw this scene… I could not end the session without taking advantage of the beauty after a rain storm. I told the clients to just lean on the wall and make out for a few minutes; while they embraced, I literally shot blind since the sun was so intense. When we returned to the studio we were greeted by this perfect composition… be sure to look for the two subtle crosses in the background :). Be sure to visit New York Finger Lakes wedding photographer Brady Dillsworth’s website for his portfolio and his blog for new photographs and frequent interesting postings!
