The Approaching Storm

Today’s awesome photograph comes to us from Columbus (Dublin) Ohio photographer, Adam Squier, of Squier Photography. In the photographer’s own words:

The reception was outside in a big tent and it had been raining off and on all day. During the reception we actually had to evacuate (big metal tent poles aren’t the best thing to be under with lightning). The lightshow provided by God was great. The temperature dropped considerably and the wind picked up. Things were a bit chilly but everything turned out well.

The sky looked dark and foreboding and I just had to get a picture of it. I underexposed the sky and let the TTL flash do its thing to expose the couple. There were no post-capture effects applied.
